Every year in December on the week before Christmas Eve service, the town in New Jersey I grew up in would have its parish Christmas parade and my classmates at Hargrove Boys Catholic School and the young male parishioners at Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Church and I would represent our church and our School in our town as we sat with next to Santa Claus in his sleigh and at Saint Bartholomew’s for Christmas service we sang “O Holy Night.”

I was raised catholic and born catholic and I went to Hargrove Catholic School for boys and on Sunday me and the other boys at Hargrove would sing in the youth boys choir during worship service at Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Church and First United Methodist Church.

Before each and every dci competition, the cadets of Bergen county play their corps song “On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss” which is “It is well with my soul” and the Rosemont Cavaliers play “Praise God from whom All blessings flow.”
